Volunteering at The Clockhouse

We rely on our team of volunteers who help out with all aspects of the running of The Clockhouse. This can include escorting on one of our minibuses, helping out with the snack bar or serving lunch, manning reception and the lunch desk or simply being on hand to have a chat or play a game with our members. Whatever your interest or skill we will have a role for you. Whether you have a spare few hours each week or on an occasional basis to help out at one of our many fundraising events then we would love to hear from you.

What can you do to help?

The Clockhouse requires substantial funding in order to offer this comprehensive and caring service to the community. Annual funding is received from Waverley Borough Council but despite this our operating costs in 2014 were a further £160,000. This was raised through small grants, tireless fundraising and donations. There are many ways in which you can help us:

  • By volunteering to help at The Clockhouse
  • By encouraging friends to attend
  • By becoming a friend and donating a modest annual subscription
  • By supporting our various fundraising activities
  • By hiring The Clockhouse for your event/meeting.
  • By making a donation via Gift Aid
  • By leaving a legacy in your Will to The Clockhouse

The Clockhouse is the home of Milford and Villages Day Centre, a Company limited by Guarantee No. 3254216 and Registered Charity No. 1059045
